Staying fit this Holiday Season

An average person eats 7 up to 10 pounds most especially this this Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day according to chef Dawn Hall.
We get excited when Holiday comes and we use to forget that our weight increases as we tend to eat a lot as a way we celebrate holidays. “A lot of people do that cycle, according to Hall the author of Busy People’s cookbooks.
Then at some point along the line they have a hard time getting back on the bandwagon. Its very dangerous. You’re playing with your health.”
According also to a registered dietitian Sylvia Klinger, we should not forget our daily activities to stay healthy. Also here are some tips that every person must do during Holiday Season:
Plan – Its so much better if you plan your Holidays get-together or parties. It is also better if you have personal eating guidelines in every event. “We Handle situations better when we have a plan A and B,” according to Klinger.
Balance – As we used to we have to remember “moderation is the key.” Its better to eat fresh foods and less on highly processed foods like supermarket pie. “If you have good veggies and protein on the table and there’s not a lot of cream and butter on them then yes, have a dessert, its not going to tip you over the edge.” “If you have three desserts in one day, that’s going to tip you over the edge.”
Control – Its not a suprise if a person eats up to 2000 calories in just 1 meal during Holiday Season. Health Expert says that its better to control yourself to avoid consequences that you will regret.
Experiment – If you are assigned as a cook for a Holiday Season event its better to experiment on healthy and nutritious foods and not to stick on the usual serving of common foods during Holiday Season. “Its Just laziness and lack of knowledge. Be adventure-some with how you cook!” There are plenty of eating cookbooks on the market to help you.
Exercise – Even though Holiday Season is the “busy time of the year” we still not need to forget the exercise to avoid a sudden weight increase. “Exercise now or you’ll be doing double time after New Years.”
