Towel Bath

Towel bath is a kind of bath where it has to wiped a sick person which lying now on bed and try to remove dirt from the skin.

Reasons:
1. Cleans the body
2. It allows blood circulation properly
3. It stables your body temperature
4. Removes irritation from your skin
5. Makes you feel comfortable

Can be applied to:
1. Sick people lying in their bed
2. Fever
3. To those who have sleeping disorder

Things needed
1. Two basin of water with enough heat
2. Soap and Soap container
3. Two towels for the face
4. Cloth to cover the sick person lying

Ways
1. Pour some water on to the basin with enough and relaxing heat.
2. Remove his cloth and cover him with bed cloth
3. Place the basin near the bed
4. Place 1 towel on to his chest. Make a glove like fold for the towel to wipe it over him using your hand. Wash his face in an “S” pattern from his forehead down to his mouth. Wash also his eyes, ears and neck.
5. Apply soap on to his face and wash it properly with hot water. Make it dry using the other towel placed on his chest.
6. Place the towel in favor under his arm and armpit. Wipe it properly and do the same with the other arm.
7. Wipe his chest properly. make sure the towel will be wash up again properly in applying it to the bellybutton.
8. Turn him sideways if he cannot fully lie down face flat on the bed. Wipe his back head down to the spinal column. Apply alcohol to the spinal column to a restless sick person.
9. Apply the same thing to his leg on the same position.
10. To wash his feet place the basin near to it and then wash it together with the tips and have it dry after.
11. Ask him if he still can do the wash over his private parts all by himself, if not wash it with a cloth.
12. Have him feel relax and comb his hair.
13. Have him drink a glass of water or 2 lemons.
